I recently had the opportunity to speak with Neil Mitchell on 3AW about my upcoming challenge in Antarctica. With just two weeks before I embark on this journey, I shared my final preparations for the daunting task of running 1300 kilometers in the icy continent.
“The aim is 60 kilometres a day, which will be a marathon and a half, because even though I’m there for 31, for six of those days, it could be too dangerous … to run,”
Listen to the full conversation with Neil Mitchell to hear more about how I’ve prepared for this incredible journey and what drives me to push my limits in such extreme conditions.
